Dr Rabia Shaikh

Dr Shaikh is an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and a leading fertility specialist, providing each of her patients with compassionate and detailed care. She obtained a Masters in Reproductive Medicine at University of New South Wales and gained her fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is currently completing a subspecialist qualification in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (CREI), the highest qualification for fertility specialists in Australia/New Zealand.

 

 

She provides expertise in the areas of:

  • Male and Female Fertility (including: Ovulation Induction/IVF/ICSI)
  • Fertility Preservation
  • Obstetrics/Gynaecology
  • Endometriosis
  • Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery
  • Recurrent Miscarriage

She has undergone advanced laparoscopic training at Westmead, Northshore and Mater Hospitals with leading laparoscopic surgeons and has worked at a number of leading hospitals across New South Wales. She is very experienced in fertility preservation with Oncology patients. She is a VMO at Nepean and Westmead Public and Private Hospitals. Dr Shaikh is also a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney, teaching students at Westmead and Nepean Hospitals.

Dr Shaikh is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
